What Your Role will involve…

  • Working within the team to deliver excellent product quality.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Day to day running of a different section for up to 150 covers daily.
  • Closely following the menu specifications to ensure consistency of dishes.
  • Supervise junior members of the team.
  • Put forward any exciting ideas that may be implemented in increasing efficiency of the kitchen.
  • Contributing to the control of food costs.
  • Ensuring excellent Environmental Health and Food Hygiene standards are maintained.

The ideal person for this role…

  • A flexible attitude and keen desire to learn.
  • Previous similar experience working in a busy kitchen using freshly sourced produce.
  • Great time keeping and reliability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Worked within medium hotels with banqueting operations and restaurants.
  • Experience of working in a rosette standard restaurant is desirable.
  • Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks accurately.
  • Food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications.
  • Willingness to learn and develop alongside the team.
