Grounds & Maintenance Assistant - NMW/NLW - Part Time/Weekend Hours

What are you all about?

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Maintenance Team.

As a grounds and maintenance assistant you are a quick thinker and are able to deal with a variety of issues on a day to day basis , multi-tasking and prioritising as necessary – nothing is too much trouble!

You possess the knowledge to carry out general maintenance tasks – plumbing, electrics and joinery to ensure a continuous safe and presentable working environment. You are a team player, working closely alongside Housekeeping to ensure the guests bedrooms, public areas and exterior grounds are maintained to the highest possible standard.

What Your Role will involve…

  • Perform all routine preventative maintenance within the property to the required company standards.
  • Attend to all types of repairs and maintenance work in the hotel premises
  • Maintain the grounds and exterior landscaping
  • Repair and maintain guest room facilities, equipment, fixtures and fittings
  • Respond to requests regarding minor maintenance issues that occur throughout the day
  • Record daily service work
  • General ad hoc tasks
